报告人简介:

孙开佳,复旦大学现代物理研究所青年研究员。 2011年于上海交通大学取得理学学士学位,2017年取得理学博士学位,2018-2022年于美国德克萨斯农工大学从事博士后和访问助理教授,2022年9月加入复旦大学核物理团队。主要从事高能核物理理论研究,主要兴趣在量子色动力学相图中临界点的寻找、粒子的极化与并合产生机制以及重离子碰撞微观输运模型等前沿领域的研究。获得国家自然科学基金委优秀青年项目(2024),中国核学会青年科技奖(2024),上海市领军人才(2022)。担任《中国科学》杂志青年编委。已发表30余篇SCI论文,包括Nature Communications 1篇、Physical Review Letters 1篇、Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics 1篇等。主持国家自然科学基金委面上项目,国家重点研发青年科学家项目等。


报告摘要:

Particles of non-zero spin produced in non-central heavy-ion collisions are expected to be polarized along the direction perpendicular to the reaction plane because of their spin-orbit interactions in the produced matter. In this talk, I will show that the hypertriton ((_Λ^3)H), which is the lightest hypernucleus, is also polarized in these collisions. I will demonstrate that the polarization and decay pattern of hypertriton provides a unique tool to decipher the spin structure of hypertriton wavefunction. I will further discuss the possibility of studying the proton spin polarization in the produced hadronic matter from the measured Λ and (_Λ^3)H polarizations in non-central heavy-ion collisions.
