报告人简介:

Dr. Rui Wang received his B.Sc. in Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012, and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at the same university in 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Lie-Wen Chen. Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2018 to 2025 at the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and at the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Sezione di Catania, Italy, collaborating with Prof. Yu-Gang Ma and Prof. Maria Colonna, respectively. Since 2025, he has continued his Postdoctoral research at the INFN Laboratori Nazionali del Sud (LNS). His research primarily focuses on the theoretical description of heavy-ion collisions, with particular emphasis on effective nucleon-nucleon interactions, transport models, light-cluster production, and in-medium properties within these collisions.

报告摘要:

Light nuclei produced in heavy-ion collisions serve as a unique probe of their in-medium properties in nuclear matter under extreme conditions. To investigate these properties, we develop a kinetic approach that includes dynamically the formation and dissociation of light clusters, together with their in-medium modifications. Using this approach, we estimate the strength of the in-medium effects on light clusters from the light-nuclei yields in Au+Au collisions. The strength of the in-medium effect on α particles is found to be significantly weaker than previously assumed. This, in turn, indicates a substantial α-particle fraction in hot and dense nuclear matter, challenging the commonly adopted view of such matter as an almost uniform nucleonic liquid.
